Well, eveyrone's actions lead to something. Forgetting to turn off the coffee machine in Chile can kill someone in China. Call me stupid, but at least I understand how the law works.   2. Rape doesn't involve clothing. Forcible rape occurs from a need of power, not sex. For all I care, GZ could have been a racist POS, it's not illegal. I would have agreed on charging him with misdemeanor "reckless endangerment" because that's what he did. But the shooting was legit. His profiling of Trayvon did not actually lead to the shooting in a direct way. Trayvon's violent behavior did.

  3. We do. We just separate them by order of importance. And our spectrum is deviated. Socialized healthcare isn't necessarily a "left" way of doing things. Here in Portugal the right wing isn't so crazy about cutting expenses (until the FMI had to intervene). Our right wing voted against gay rights. That's because they are socially conservative. I am conservative in the matters of the constitution - and ours prevents discrimination based on sexual orientation. That's why it seems contradictory.

  4. Yes, and this whole thing started because I said Obama would be considered right wing in my country. Even our Socialist party leaders turn into the right during elections/while in power to appeal to the mainstream, and are very left when they're the opposition. Truth is, only the leftist bloc and the Communist party are consistently far left.

  6. I did not support Zimmerman, but I supported the shooting and his acquittal to felony charges (he should have been pinned with misdemeanor charges, though). I wear hoodies. That's irrelevant. Trayvon Martin consented to the fight. Prior to his bullet wound, his only bruising was on his fists. If you want to use the rape analogy, the recipient undressed him/herself and asked another person to have sex. Don't want to get fucked with consent? Don't explicitly ask people to fuck you.

It's calculated A party can be (just examples) be very pro abortion and "somewhat" pro war against Iran, but see foreign policy as very important and abortion as a very unimportant issue. We use those algorithms to figure out if a party is Right or Left wing. And Obama is considered right wing here, btw.
