  3.  @conductingintomfoolery9163  No. Average lifespan has mostly levelled off in the developed world (in some countries it actually dipped by six months to a year). In Africa? Births per couple are decreasing, but they used to have 25-28 average lifespans a few decades ago due to child mortality, wars and famine/disease. Africa is not birthing more children - they're just hanging around longer.

In just 40-50 years many countries hitting the 60 mark means that people born 70 years ago are alive when statistically they wouldn't be at the time they were conceived. This is a MASSIVE increase in population. Your sink will overflow no matter how open the tap is if you plug the drain.
