The point of the masks wasn't eradicating spread. It was limiting spread. Go back to March 2020. Everyone was going to get it. Just not at the same time. That was the narrative. Hence flattening the curve. Do you remember how people would explain the curve to you 50 times a day? It was unbearable. The area under the curve is the same. It's just spread out longer. We had like 3 curves flattened by the time the shots were made available. Nobody "got us" to any point. The point was set. Did you know that serological tests show that there's blood in Italian blood banks that was drawn in late 2019 that had antibodies for the stuff? We had months where we weren't wearing any masks and it was spreading. Then the authorities said masks didn't work. That's another month or whatever. So you can't blame Clapton.

@Poochipup False. SARS 1 was a MUCH WORSE disease which like Ebola allows the sick to be quarantined and the spread to be contained. SARS CoV 2 on the other hand has very mild symptoms for a big percentage of people who come down with it. The data says you're wrong. It was already over the world in late 2019. Masks didn't stop it. 320 people in an apartment block became infected because fecal matter was sucked out of a faulty sewage system. If tiny particles can get into a ventilation system and infect people in their own homes you think masks stop it? By April 2003 only 3,300 people had been infected by SARS. The spread was much slower. It's you who doesn't know history.

@Poochipup It was stopped due to it being a more serious disease with lower contagion. It was stopped because it was noticed early. SARS CoV 2 was already all over the world by the time authorities were still denying human to human transmission. It's you who needs to get real. If it was even more infectious than SARS CoV 2 then how come the Chinese authorities had reported 30 thousand cases a month into this BS, while the first SARS got 10x less infections? If Asians knew how to control disease, then how come China had to lock Hubei province and in the hotspots weld people into their homes? Have empty streets pressure washed with disinfectant? Clearly they couldn't pull off the same tactics as SARS. They were much more desperate. Desperation isn't an indication of knowing what you're doing. They took lockdowns and quarantines so seriously, they allowed flights out of Hubei province despite closing it off from the rest of the country. Seems like the CCP wanted the precious liberties of infecting the world. Clapton's short sightedness? But the Chinese also vaccinate. By your logic they're Asian and they know how to defeat SARS. How come they failed? They need the vaccine. You're contradicting yourself. You don't want to hear more because you know you've been defeated and you've embarrassed yourself with contradictions.
