  4. And you and a thousand fans can listen to the same song hundreds of times spread over a year. Meanwhile you'll only listen to a 2 hour podcast once. Also, this is an exclusivity deal. If you're a huge artist who can draw a crowd, contact Spotify for an exclusivity deal. You just can't have your songs played on radio, other streamin services, a youtube VEVO channel, etc.
