@MrJturner74 Convoy sounds good in the open highway, disaster in actual practice. The point of trucks is that they can get to the door of businesses and even drive into warehouses. So you can have thousands of them going back and forth in all directions at any given time. If you're running a snake of containers down the highway and they're all robots that follow the leader, you might as well just send the goods by train. When the human driver needs to stop for his mandated rest time, where does the convoy park? Most truck stops wouldn't be able to handle that many autonomous trucks parking at the same time.

Just stop repeating the lies. Der Spiegel reported that Hamburg in Germany was lying about the status of people in the ICU. They simply didn't verify status of 70% of people and labelled them "unknown". When publishing the data, they put them up as unspiked. If an entire region in Germany was lying, everyone's lying. Wake up.

A lot of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and lung cancer is preventable. Where's the mandates to deal with those people who take resources away from the community?

Not in Germany or Austria. Portugal is dragging their feet. Greece has a mandate for the elderly. Haven't heard about France lately.

How have the policies changed with the situation? Many countries are throwing in the towel because the scientific consensus is that it's unstoppable, mild and close to endemic. And yet, some countries are rabbidly pursuing a useless strategy. How does that make sense? Yeah, I think even a trucker can notice something's up.

@Baffi_ Ventilation actually helps the death spiral. Not only it injuries the lung tissue and contributes to inflammation, it also promotes the formation of oxide radicals. How is it better for the economy? Until very recently people had to be in isolation anyway. And close contacts too. So you could be near someone who tested positive, stay negative, be told to stay home, then come back to work and then have contact with someone who tested positive. Businesses were complaining about the restrictions due to staffing issues. How is it better for the economy to have this revolving door?

People in red states feel safe. That's a lot of people who have been pacified and reduces the will to fight.
