@filmjazz "Because the "problem" that voter ID requirements purport to solve is a myth (see link in my previous comment)." - where's the link? "The true motivation behind the people who argue for it is voter suppression, particularly voter suppression of the poor and minorities aka "people who tend to vote for Democrats."" - How does voting ID suppress the vote? "There's nothing that scares right-wingers more than making sure everyone in this country gets a fair chance to vote" - Go to any EU country, they issue voter ID alongside your normal ID. Not that I'm saying the EU is an example to follow or anything, but the concept that voter ID is a right-wing conspiracy to take votes away from minorities is solely an American paranoia. How does it take away a fair chance to vote?

momentinpassing "And if you believe they "lost" the plans for the Apollo missions" - They did. NASA subcontracted many companies to make the rockets, the companies no longer exist, many design changes were made by hand and the skilled workers responsible it have died.

momentinpassing Dunno what that means. If you think you can reverse engineer a bunch of rockets that have rusted why don't you volunteer to do it? And prove NASA wrong?

momentinpassing What simple truths? You speak of some grand truth and yet you refuse to say anything about what you believe in. You just insult people for not believing the same bullshit as you.

@deancooper7760 "bail your free trade asses out when your capitalist dreams collapse" - What? All this garbage was created by government action. The capitalist dreams didn't collapse, the central banking/fiat currency/nanny state dream collapsed. The bail outs interfere with the free market. "Free traders didn't allow America to process the slave grown cotton. No, the cotton was sent back to England where child, prison, and sweatshop labor turned it into cloth." - "Free traders" restricted trade? Ahahaha.
