  1. You're missing the point. Biden says because of the corrupt system Mexico has wealth but it's concentrated in the 1%. So the implication here is that the US is just as corrupt because the wealth is concentrated in the 1% too!

  2.  @wareaglerebel8131  I really don't see the point of contention. For example, whenever the media talks about wealthy Russian businessmen they call them "oligarchs". Have you ever heard CNN call "oligarch" to every single American millionaire? That's the point, the double standard when describing inequality. Sorry, but the US has corruption too and most successful businesses have to resort to bribery. For example, if you know Sen. Feinstein you'll recognize her as one of the most anti-gun politicians in America. But she's in a committee that picks military gear for SOCOM (I believe) so there's gun industry manufacturers that send her money. So when a Navy SEAL kicks down a door and shines his rifle-mounted Surefire flashlight into a room it's because of corruption being so normalized an anti-gun politician takes money from the gun industry.

But when Biden goes off on Mexico claiming that their inequality stems from corruption the synapses start firing... Is the situation any different in the US?
