The vast majority of them occurred before there was one available. But don't let the timeline get in the way of your narrative.

@htown11465 Is this a joke? You're bringing up deaths that occurred before the stuff was available, that's completely unrelated to the topic. It makes a difference because that's what you're arguing. Did you forget what you were even trying to say? If you want to make an argument about the US's response, then sure it doesn't matter if it's before or after. But that wasn't the argument you were making. So yes, it makes all the difference.

@htown11465 No, it doesn't. First of all, you're wrong with two different conditions. First, the variant going around now is different. Second, the first few waves wiped out a ton of vulnerable people. So right there you have two factors you're not controlling for. He's not ignoring anything. The passports and restrictions are not related to deaths, they're a measure to contain spread. So how can people be mandated to do something that doesn't contain the spread? Want to talk about deaths? Sure. Jimmy is ranting against the mandates. Here we also have a guy who's living under a government that's threatening to unperson people based on their plague rat status. But as it turns out, those who take the shot are plague rats too. They just won't die for 6-8 months. This is evidence that the narrative we were sold doesn't work. Are you afraid of dying? Please, for the love of God take it. That's not the argument. You want me to lose my home and my job because I won't do what you tell me? That's the argument we're having here.

How does it make sense? The vaccination should have broken the chains of transmission and generated the fabled herd immunity.

Oh, not perfect. Nobody asked for perfection. You people read from a script. Nobody said it had to be perfect. But we were told we had to get it to prevent the spread. It doesn't. So how come we're losing freedoms over it? It's not similar at all. The flu shot is reformulated every year to match the predicted strains that are going to be the most serious.

BS. That's a clear moving of the goalposts. First you people wanted herd immunity now you're claiming it's just about deaths and don't care about cases, but you'll use cases as justification for more lockdowns. Get the hell out. Also, the UK is seeing more daily average deaths than the same period last year. Explain that.
