"second was mariupol attack which they capturedband 3rd was melitopol which they captured" - You're forgetting the Kharkiv axis and the attempt to bypass Mykolaiv into Odessa. Some of the best Russian units were in Izyum to attempt to capture Kharkiv, which failed, and then moved to use Izyum as an advance axis to encircle the Donbas. Since they failed their Kiev attempt and then the encircling attempt, heavy losses left them holding the ground in Izyum. When the counter-offensive began, they were forced to flee and leave their tanks behind.

Like now he calls Ukraine "partners" sarcastically and refers to the Kremlin as the planet of pink ponies. He has complained about the low quality of conscripts. Murz is more graphic in his descriptions, he says the mobilized include the sickly, the mentally ill, and people still recovering from old wounds.

Their only use is serving as blocking detachments to prevent desertions, because when they are sent into real fights they cry. Kadyrovites are not an army. They're a bullying force.

  15. It's not Vietnam anymore. No, we shouldn't do the same. It's shameful and ineffective. All countries bar males from leaving in case of invasion. Look at the fine print - in the US all males 18-45 are part of the militia and the governor of their state has the right to call them to arms.

Prisoners should pay their debt back to the victims. Society earns nothing from war. Russian society is being harmed by war. Criminals with PTSD from war? What a combo! The US doesn't recruit mercenaries from around the world. Triple Canopy? You have to apply, and you'll be rejected. They don't want you. You have nothing to offer to them. Blackwater? Doesn't exist anymore. For about a decade. Weird you equate that to males being called up in case of INVASION, which the US isn't under. Being barred from leaving isn't a draft. My father was barred from leaving the country. He was drafted later. But he was barred from leaving the country at 17. Russia hasn't mobilized because they haven't been invaded. Ukraine has. There is fine print everywhere. Militia Act of 1903. If a state of emergency can be declared to prevent you from leaving the country due to lockdown, they can prevent you from leaving due to war. I'm not doing anything of the sort. I'm just correcting your blatantly incorrect comments.

They created a fake civil war instigated by FSB agents so they could engage in conquest. The non-felon kid doesn't have to die because he's not being drafted. A (presumably) non-felon Wagner fighter was recently filmed in a hotel lobby starting fights. If that's how normal Wagner people behave, imagine these criminals. They'll come back home to murder. Remember the Soviet-Afghan war? The veterans ended up as the gangsters in 1990s Russia who shot machine guns and used bombs during their gang warfare period. American PMC avoid the classification of mercenary. They aren't even allowed to wear camouflage because they are not combatants. They mostly provide security services and don't engage in combat. Yes, they don't need combat arms. They need helicopter pilots. They need HVAC technicians. Medics. Dog handlers. Meanwhile Wagner is hiring "assault infantry" aka cannon fodder. The Donbas has been genocided by Russia's mobilization. Russians will have trouble getting visas now, so the point is moot. If they're on erroneous charges, why should they catch a bullet in Ukraine? How is it justice to have to face combat for early leave for crimes they didn't commit?
