@jltg34 I think it's funny people are saying things like "the US has a hypercapitalist culture" when right now in Russia microcredit loan sharks are offering high interest loans to the men who are summoned to serve in the military so they can buy the equipment their own army does not provide. Knowing that if they get KIA in combat the family gets a payday and thus able to pay the debt. Want hypercapitalism? Don't look at old men in suits gambling with billions. Look at those willing to chew on the corpses of their fellow man for a quick buck.

@jltg34 I'm not handwaving anything. I'm straight up saying that some of you people look at morally questionable issues and cry that the sky is falling, when truly despicable things happen. You can't say a 90 dB party is loud while 120 dB gunshots are being fired in the house next door. The point isn't that house parties don't keep people up at night. They do. The problem is saying that 90 decibel is louder than 120. It isn't. That's just a fact. Not handwaving. Everyone wants CEO heads to roll, nobody is willing to do anything. Spare me the LARP. We've had plenty of chances to kick things off, nobody does anything. Or when someone does anything, the same people who called for it are suddenly very concerned.

@tetchuma Didn't seem to be a stepping stone either. It was meant for one thing and one thing only which means it lost its purpose when the legal landscape changed, cost a ton of money, and had to be dropped.

@Crunch_dGH he didn't say ICE was more efficient than electric, he said people benefit from higher efficience ICE designs.
