  3.  @RhetoricWalrus  I've also seen the anecdotes myself, I look at their text and profiles pics and I am not convinced at all any of those people ever listened to milquetoast conservative commentators let alone been into the alt-right. It would have required an extreme personality change in too short of a time. Even ignoring that, it just doesn't make logical sense to ease someone out of the alt-right with a video that out of nowhere turns becomes about performing oral sex on a pre-op trans woman. Hmmmmm. That's pushing someone into an ice cold pool, not easing them into anything.

"Technology offers the ability to alter reality." - It really doesn't. If anything, it allows you to alter your perception of reality, which leads to the self-propagating mechanism. "there is no way I'm giving up my technology" - Nobody's asking you to. We're just saying that they will be your downfall.
