RE: Invasion by death robots - your comment just seems to defend the need for a superstate in charge of their own death robots under the justification of national defense. Spoiler alert: that's not better at all.

"Technology offers the ability to alter reality." - It really doesn't. If anything, it allows you to alter your perception of reality, which leads to the self-propagating mechanism. "there is no way I'm giving up my technology" - Nobody's asking you to. We're just saying that they will be your downfall.
