  7.  @avppr3451  What does that have to do with anything? No, Crimea never proposed a secession plan. Crimea was seized militarily, with a referendum done after the fact by Russian authorities. That's why the Crimea seizure is not recognized internationally. Nothing was done before using violence, Russian troops showed up one day and it was done. There was no attempt. Minsk II was broken by DPR forces assaulting Debaltseve the day after it was signed.

  17. ​ @MrHellknightimp  The Crimean constitution not aligning with the Ukrainian constitution was always an issue. However, Crimea did not rejoin Russia. There was a covert operation to flood Crimea with Russian troops and surround Ukrainian military bases, then have a referendum post facto. So there was an invasion. What happened later is fruit of the poisoned apple.
