So you're telling me that the guy who got expelled from college after receiving oral sex while passed out from a drunk girl (making him the "rapist") isn't a perfect reflection of what the "trolls" on tumblr want? Are trolls so effective that they managed to undermine colleges without actually being real people? You think the people on twitter aren't actual activists and members of groups in real life colleges? You think people on tumblr aren't writing fiction books, making videogames or possibly writing articles on "real" websites or even becoming academics who will in the future teach those gender/women studies classes? You really think that these people don't have an influence on culture?

  3. Toxic Potato It never originated in tumblr, this shit is "scientific theory" to the people who've been writing on gender and race for decades. I have friends who went to college for history and African history isn't lectured as "white people kinda fucked up Africa and that's a fact", but it's lectured as "here's all the reasons why white people are evil, the West is evil, capitalism is evil and everything bad in Africa is white Westerner's fault" - while conveniently ignoring the misery that was brought by USSR backed guerrillas because communists have never been imperialistic. Tumblr was merely the place where college students congregated to. And eventually, partially due to the economic crash, real journalists started being replaced by interns straight out of college who had taken these BS classes.

  4. Nope, look at Ghostbusters, it tanked. Comic books keep trying to pander to the PC crowd, who aren't a major market force, and alienating their core fanbase. The reality of pandering to PC is that the people who complain about that stuff typically didn't buy the products before and won't buy them later.
