  1. ​ @SoullessScythe  That's a confusion. When people say "don't lift with your back" that is trying to pick up weights by bending down and using the lower back muscles to lift. That causes shear loading on the spine. When people say using the back muscles to pull, or "training back on the gym", that's an arm pull exercise. It's basically the opposite of a push up. It's perfectly safe to work those upper back muscles.
