Your local city, county and state budgets are not federal defense budgets.
4
@vanillagerrilla That's still abandonment.
4
@enriquelaroche5370 You're in St. Petersburg so why do you care about gas in environmentally conscious California?
4
Americanski from Oklahoma Oblast.
3
@christyvetter18 the millions of homeless get handed tons of aid.
3
The people going "muh taxes" probably wouldn't understand 4 of those words.
2
@CALIMA2000 Same way they defeated Russia in Kherson. Cut the supply when they have the water on their backs. They'll have to choose between leaving or getting squeezed.
2
@edwardweber5655 The people of South Vietnam still saw the atrocities in the Tet Offensive. They weren't fighting for the government. They fought knowing that the North wanted them and their families dead.
2
@ali-haider5788 12 HIMARS and 4-5 M270s literally broke the back of the Russian army by striking supply depots. Russia went from multipronged offensives to a slog of trench warfare due to their massive firepower getting the arteries cut. It changed the game. Therefore a game changer.
2
@gregoryfilin8040 Russia expanded into Transnistria, Georgia, independent Chechnya and Ukraine.
2
@enriquelaroche5370 Russia's red line: "anyone is free to join alliances" Medvedev "Crimea is Ukraine" (Putin)
2
Walker The Texas Ranger from New Mexico Oblast here, I am also tired of sending American money billions. I ask deputies in Vashington AC/DC to stop chewing the snot and working with a point, after all not American public here? Very bad American money over there.
2
@jagx234 Solving shit "here" doesn't come from the DoD budget.
1
Armenia made a bad gamble by being the aggressor in the 90s and being allied to Russia.
1
@jackbradley3388 But 90% of the comments are literally "I am John Smithovski from Texas Oblast, homeless, the veterans, border, Ukraine should negotiate, should have respected Minsk agreements, stop the war". It's literally a script. Do us a favor, pretend to support Ukraine and start replying to people who want to end the aid. See how many respond. And those who do reply, see how many actually form coherent thoughts instead of just repeating the same thing.
1
200 HIMARS isn't necessary, that's a lot of launchers that would have no rocket packs to fire.
1
Is France beholden to the US or UK after they got liberated by the Allies?
1
How is it in Germany's interest to get chained to a hostile and unreliable provider?
1
@mitchyoung93 Gas is expensive because of long term consequences of lockdowns and environmental policy. Not the war.
1
@dragonstormdipro1013 Housing market crisis and subprime mortgage loans being packed as AAA rated investment assets.
1
Still patting yourself in the back for misreading an article about trench fighting in Bakhmut?
1
South Vietnamese people were indigenous.
1
@enriquelaroche5370 Your fault for going to San Francisco. Probably voting democrat too.
1
@@patagonianpaint Sorry, imagine living in hellholes and complaining online when it's entirely your fault they are that way.
1
This is scripted lol
1
Rosstat is the only agency that can report it. We can't look at their economy and measure it.
1
Whataboutism. One side of the political aisle doesn't want to have a border and thinks we shouldn't prosecute crime, the homeless get billions, price hikes are due to the world getting wrecked in 2020.
1
@JC-af So it follows that repaying all that debt would mean selling assets from the private sector to tax the income. Now you got no economy.
1
@JC-af The government can certainly compel you to pay up. The fact of the matter is that the Clinton era budget surplus was a drag on the private sector balance. To pay national debt the private sector has to incur loss. This was also seen in Japan, which ran a budget surplus before their economic decline. Sure, the assets don't disappear. However, everyone's trying to offload assets to pay up the debt. This causes quite the conundrum. Whoever is buying the assets can't expect a return considering everyone is on the hook and facing financial ruin from the genius idea of erasing the debt.
1
@elijahtiemens5532 No, it isn't. Give money to a drug addict, he'll do drugs. Buy defense equipment, defense companies hire workers, workers then pay for their houses, etc.
1
@jakemckeown9459 Algebra classes don't cover how the DoD budget isn't used to cover the potholes in your road.
1
@mitchyoung93 "border fence" most illegal immigrants are overstaying visas anyway, and coyotes are paid to bring people across through obstacles. Cartels have tunnels under the border.
1
@barryscott6222 Yes, they were. Care to disprove that?
1
By the way, tell that to Moscow. They wouldn't survive the war with Germany without US support.
1
Considering that Russia had one of their assets come up with a conspiracy theory full of holes and mistakes to blame the US, it was probably Russia.
1
The homeless get billions in aid. You want them off the street? The current housing programs will have to implement no behavioral rules.
