  1. If you're a "resistance" fighter without a uniform you're hiding behind civilians. Polish resistance members famously wore a white and red armband to identify them as resistance fighters. French civilians often hated French resistance members for triggering reprisals from the Germans and the Allied forces asked French resistance to stop and only fight when coordinated with them because of the mess they were creating.

  2. Uhhh okay what about all the Israeli kids who saw Hamas jump the borders and attack their countrymen? They'll be 18 and serving in the IDF one day. Why do Palestinians have an in-built excuse to fight but Israelis have to take it on the chin and ask for seconds?

  8. It's not bizarre. It's the laws of warfare. By refusing to wear a uniform you endanger civilians. By not wearing a uniform you are forfeiting the laws of armed combat.
