  1. That's not really accurate. There was no technological development against the TB2. The Russian armed forces were unaware of a particular threat and several factors hindered air defense. Once AD was in play, the TB2 was no longer an overmatch. Same as HIMARS. It has not been rendered obsolete by pulling back ammo depots, and air defense has not been rendered obsolete by HIMARS and HARMs. If a boxer becomes known for his uppercut and opponents start to preemptively avoid/counter it, doesn't mean the uppercut is obsolete in boxing.
