@mikyas392 Buddy you can get coordinates from maps. You can get coordinates from your phone. You meant satellite imagery?

@coolheaded5633 Says who? If I have drone footage of you standing in a street corner, I can pull up the coordinates on my phone and load them into a GPS guided shell. It's gonna land. In a battlefield, outside a battlefield, doesn't matter.

"Brutally honest" meanwhile Lavrov claimed they didn't start the war and got laughed at in India

@mikyas392 It's not geoguesser. If I know we're in combat in the same city, and I know where the drone is flying towards, I can pull coordinates from any source available. Satellite comms aren't necessary for quick and dirty jobs like mortaring. I see you. I plop down the firing tables. I don't have to wait for satellite anything.

@youtubebane7036 A coup is not a war or war declaration. There was also no coup. The government showed up to work and had a vote. The Odessa deaths were linked to a full blown street fight where Russians fired an AK at a crowd and threw molotov cocktails into a crowd from the top of the building that caught fire. The people of Donbas were killed by Russia. The forced conscription nearly depleted the region of men.

@youtubebane7036 Doesn't matter. A vote isn't a coup. Many European countries have voted to dissolve governments over the decades. Yanukovych betrayed the security services and was going to get a peace deal while letting the crooked cops and his Berkut boys take the fall for murder and aggravated assault. Yanukovych's life was not in danger, the police (pro-Russians) simply saw that they would go to prison and decided to let everyone know they wouldn't protect Yanukovych. Yanukovych wanted to live the mafioso life but forgot a basic rule of mafia life - you never cross the people you depend on for protection. No, Odessa was started by Russians shooting firearms at Ukrainians (under the protection of pro-Russia police chiefs) and culminated with pro-Russian rioters throwing molotov cocktails from the roof of the trade union house into the pro-Ukraine rioters in the street. The fire resulted from the clashes and the deaths from the police refusing to stop the fighting and ignoring the emergency calls. The Minsk II accords were broken by the DPR the day after they were signed. Russia never intended to honor Minsk. NATO didn't expand East. Eastern countries afraid of Russian invasion to "protect Russian speakers" such as in Moldova in the 90s asked to join a security alliance that protects them from Russian aggression. Mexico and Canada aren't afraid of the US. In fact Mexico has a relatively weak military because they are protected by the US.

@marshalljulie3676 The generals get intel from US satellites. Valery and friends aren't being contacted by the CIA. They see Russians on the drone footage, they start laying fires. The war is being fought with a huge front and tons of small DJI drones. The US can't be directing orders at every soldier.

@cobsterdalobster3022 Nobody said that, you're arguing against a strawman.

@KasperYakolev-j1h Yes. But the utility of phones is just too important. Many units use signal and whatsapp to coordinate.

@waynejohnson1786 He's a war criminal staging BS for Russia. He isn't a journalist. There's plenty of Russian journalists who speak English already so he's redundant. I honestly hope an American 155mm catches up to hit. But doesn't kill him. I want him to suffer the consequences and spend the next decades of is life regretting what he's done.
