  3. Right. But for example in Kharkiv when Russians holed up in towns to stabilize the frontline, the Ukrainians pressured them to leave and pre-sighted the escape routes. When they left the town Ukrainians let loose with the guns, resulting in the photos of roads littered with body parts seen in the aftermath. Instead of trying to flatten the town, they got the enemy in the relative open.

  4.  @SassoSkorzeny  Downplaying the importance of what? Russia is not succeeding because their gains will be rolled over. Ukraine can undo in a week several months of costly Russian gains.
