  1. To be fair, violence works when you have a backstop. When you have media, corporations and people in the government to support your cause you can be violent all you want, history will be written from your perspective. Contrast that with the violence at the capitol. A lot less if it, the target was justifiable rather than indiscriminate, and still they're the bad guys and we need censorship and PATRIOT Act 2.0 to stop them.
