  1. As abhorrent child labor looks, your ancestors did it. Unless you're advocating for adopting all those children and bringing them over here to give them a privileged childhood, or somehow giving money to a charity you hope is gonna help them kids and not just pay themselves massive salaries while they sell the kids to the Cl*nton Foundation, not paying those kids only means that they'll have to do something else. Like farming, processing discarded electronics by hand or dynamite fishing. To you it's job, to them it's survival. They're not being enslaved by Starbucks but nature itself, we're all enslaved to it but in the developed world we have built ourselves a bubble.

  2. Yeah what's so bad about slave labor camps in a country famous for its authoritarianism? It's totally the same thing as paying someone who dabs a little hot glue and tightens a few screws 10 dollars an hour.

  3. On the other hand, a ton of people who complained about the treatment of Muslims by America are weirdly dismissive of the Chinese treatment of Muslims. Of course it's all a game to them. Doesn't mean it's not being played.
