  1.  @suzimonkey345  Often those "machete wielding madmen" are standing alone in the middle of the street and you see police calmly attempt the takedown. If the machete wielding madman was in the process of swinging his blade at your neck, would you want the "disarm" that's gonna a few seconds until the cops are in arm's reach or a shot to the brain stem?
