@eKko0 Arresting someone for not wearing a mask is immoral and an act of aggression. Resisting that arrest is covered under self-defense. The aggressor then used armed force against his victim for the purpose of compliance. Here's your correct statement.

@kiwishitloard2568 Hey every bot obeying his masters and sending people to camps or guillotines or firing squads were giving lawful orders. Those giving the "lawful" orders deserved a hail of supersonic heavy metal with the elemental symbol Pb.

@eKko0 I know this is a difficult concept to understand, because every criminal thinks the law shouldn't apply to them, but when the real criminals do whatever they want and the police comes after people who are doing no wrong, the law is absolutely meaningless. Appealing to the unjust law to formulate a legalese argument goes against the principles of justice and fairness. The sad reality is that when tyranny becomes law, rebellion is a moral duty. We should not comply, for they do not have enough manpower or cells to arrest us.

@kiwishitloard2568 "don’t start a fight you can’t win" - The problem is that I've seen several fights I couldn't win so I didn't start them. In my defense I was too young to be fighting, and I was vocal about my beliefs so at least I tried to warn others. What I feared became true. And now more of my fears are becoming true. If this becomes another fight I miss out because I couldn't win, one day I will be too old. And I will have no option but to roll over and accept I will not fight anything that comes my way. And for that reason I do not fear losing.

@guillermoelnino I guess the heroes will have to become good at looting their bullets.

@davidbycroft You can be incubating and not test positive because you're not yet shedding.

@davidbycroft Okay. Remember right around February/March 2020 when finally the whole world started panicking? They said that countries should implement 14 day quarantines for people who were in contact with the infected and people who had come from infected zones. And a lot of people brought up that while in average the 14 days would be enough, the standard deviation was within 7-28 days. I have no idea if those numbers are still valid. But according to the information we had at the time, it was technically possible for someone to go through quarantine and come out shedding because by sheer chance they started being "positive" after the 15th day. Obviously a one month quarantine would be inhumane but that was back when we still had a chance to stop it, and very few people would be affected. Also, this was after the part where the WHO denied that there was a pandemic, and anyone who noticed that things were happening in China was called a racist conspiracy theorist. So it's almost like this whole BS was done on purpose but I digress. Apparently we're on the same side so I'll edit my comment to be less abrasive.

@Kantimitsu It's essentially becoming endemic and seasonal. Are you going to maintain a semi-closed system forever with quarantining of people coming from abroad or eventually let it go and face what other countries already went through?

"President Madagascar! A man in Brazil is coughing!" "Shut. Down. EVERYTHING!"

@eKko0 My dude, if you resort to pepper spray to perform an arrest, the cause for arrest was the original charge. The pepper spray was not used to protect life and limb of self and/or others, it was used for the purposes of subduing the person being arrested. The "subtle" difference doesn't exist. It only kicks in when the situation changes, for example a person being arrested for a legitimate charge turning violent and the force escalation stops being about the arrest and becomes something entirely different which is preventing harm.
