  1. I've been saying since last year that for every day of restrictions the politicians should have to serve a day of house arrest starting once the restrictions are lifted. People told me I'm crazy and an extremist then. But "not voting" isn't enough. So many of these stooges are unelected. The biggest parties are all complicit and would not go after each other if they won.

  6. The NRA is a joke. They spend the vast majority of the donations money on... more fundraising. They donate to republicans mostly, people who already have reasonably pro-gun voter bases and a couple of democrats (there's a couple of them that depend on rural votes) so it's not doing that much. The way to elect people for the board is totally corrupt. It is very likely that a grassroots movement to elect Adam Kraut, a pro gun lawyer, to the NRA board actually won but got cheated out, and the vote can't be audited. The only organization inside that actually does something is the NRA-ILA but so many times they put their name on the plaintiffs, do almost nothing while other organizations grind to win the court case, and they show up last minute to take the credit.
