Oliver Stone is an occasional guest on RT and personally interviewed Putin. He was also friends with Hugo Chavez. He loves anyone who hates the US.

Mucho texto. So Yanukovych's violence doesn't count, but the Maidan protests do?
1
lol it's Russia who's the bigger bully making threats and saying Ukraine does not exist. Nations are forged in times like these, and the only way out is through.
1
Should the US have lost the Revolutionary War just because the French were helping them to fight the British?
1
Funny, because nations that depend on extracting resources are typically not self-sufficient. Even Russian oil extraction has a significant percentage that depends on Western companies and machines doing the work.
1
@turinthalion8784 I don't see how that disproves what I've said. Russia being self-sufficient is pure, refined optimism.
1
He pushed his own spike protein juice shot and several districts had QR codes to ride public transport. He's not fighting against NWO. Just for his own profit.
1
Russia's abortion rate is pretty high.
1
The EU attempted to use economic ties to dissuade war with Russia. You can see how they're pretty mad at them. There's also several EU member states with a bone to pick with Russia. They're not being thrown at the angry bear. They're seeing the bear stick his foot in the trap and loading the shotgun with the bear slugs.
1
@Laenthal Whatever cope let's you sleep at night. Many millions of dollars worth of equipment have been brought down by our surplus meaning that Russia will not be able to conduct an offensive for another decade, and Chinese lockdowns are preventing them from benefitting.
1
@Laenthal "Openly available information"? Okay. Awash with money by selling at a discount. The tragedy of countries that depend on extraction of resources and nothing else. That's barreling down the path into becoming a vassal state. Record high internal spending because they've been cut off from the outside. Okay. I wouldn't want to become dependent on China especially now that they're shooting themselves in the foot by keeping their own citizens in house arrest.

Russia put Russian troops inside Ukraine for 8 years. Remember MH17? 298 people were killed by the Buk launcher marked 332 from the 53rd anti air missile batallion... supposedly stationed in Kursk. That's a long way from home.
1
That makes no sense. First, the Afghanistan government was Soviet aligned and the insurgents were explicitely a destabilization force. In this case, Azov is a loyalist force fighting for government stability. Which doesn't matter anyway, as most are dead, injured or captured.
1
@D-B-Cooper "killing of ethnic Russians" only 18 died in 2021. It's pretty tame for an active conflict.
1
NATO is already on his border. What are the Baltic states for 500, Alex? And now Finland will join as soon as the watermelon seller is reminded of his place. Zelensky's government actually opened a criminal investigation against an editor in chief of a publication who posted video on social media of himself firing artillery at the separatist regions and calling for violence. Zelensky was reasonable and a Russian-speaker himself.
1
This is Russia's middle east, bud. They're spending billions per day to run intense combat operations.
1
@spitefulraven Literally how? It's Russia who is sending their men to die (making their demographic crisis worse) and spending billions per day to conduct offensive operations, while NATO dumps old stock. Their "response" to "expansion" is like fighting quicksand. The more the squirm the deeper they find themselves, now Finland is joining NATO too - and Sweden as soon as the watermelon seller gets his pound of flesh out of it. Switzerland broke neutrality. Israel already got pissed at Sergei Lavrov and now Vladimir Solovyov says this is the fault of "j3 w1sh colonizers". There's no way to rationalize this debacle.
1
100 millions in weapons means most of it was old stock. Unless the poor can eat sheet metal and rocket fuel, it wouldn't solve anything.
1
@tuber9211 Selling 100 million dollars of materiel on paper gets you 20 million in the real world market. Whoa.
1
@tuber9211 Forget salesmen. It's old stock. It's useless for any prospective buyer, and only worth something for anyone in active conflict and desperate for help. All the other nations shopping around for defense items. They'd see it as an insult to be sold that kind of stuff. Yeah, war materiel had to be bought. It's an insurance. You buy it hoping you won't have to use it, and then you get rid of it when it's time to buy new. All defense budgets are a loss. That's how it works and always has. Giving it away is not a loss because that money had to be spent. It's like if you had to buy a laptop for college, and then after using it for several years you give it to a friend. You had to spend that money, so there's no point in crying about it.

Secession of the Donbas was started and armed by Russian operatives. It would be the same as French people entering England with French weapons and saying "Hello fellow Normans, let's seceede?".
1
@sowianskizonierz2693 Which is precisely why I mentioned the Normans, as the English share ethnic background with the French. Also, nice lie. Vkontakte posts prove that Russian military was in the separatist regions because people literally cannot stop pasting their faces online. The OSCE observers also have seen modern Russian armed forces equipment in the area. The MH17 flight that got shot down was fired on by the Buk launcher marked 332 belonging to the 53rd anti air missile brigade from Kursk. What were they doing inside Ukraine? Just stop lying, we know what Russia did.
1
False. They openly mocked negotiations. When asked about their continued arming of separatists, they said they never signed any agreements so they can do whatever they want. The Minsk II treaty was broken the very next day by DPR forces. They planned an assault on Debaltseve right after a ceasefire went into effect. What kind of cowardice is that? Begging for mercy and then stabbing when you let your guard down. Shelling of innocent people for eight years? Do me a favor. Post the number of people killed in 2021.
1
You got the timeline wrong. It was the pro-Russian fifth columnists armed with Russian weapons and lead by Russian operatives who took the chance to carve up the country, and groups of hooligans, nationalists and police officers banded together to help defend Ukraine when the army couldn't. Azov was a monster created by Russia. Without their antics, they would just be drunk losers watching soccer.
