Only if the imbalance is small enough for the fins to correct it. The missile knows it's off-course, but all it does is repositon the fins to straighten it back. If the thrust just keeps pushing the missile off its path the guidance system will just keep command the fins into max deflection and wait until it straightens out.

But the force isn't concentrated. It took months to capture towns like this. It's a trickle.

He can't find a thermometer with a °F readout in Ukraine, genius. Stop overthinking things. He saw the trmp in Celsius so he said Celsius. Most people can't do the proper conversion in their head.
1
@Erik_Ice_Fang bruh AWACS can operate in US skies, I saw flightradar screenshots the other day even P-8s were in on the action
1
They wouldn't risk a Su-34 70km near Kiyv. The aircraft dropping glide FABs are vulnerable to SAMs.
1
Which is a twin engine because they can't make a Pratt & Whitney F-135.
1
No plausible deniability if the military starts losing people left and right and a bunch of people named "Jackson" and "Martinez" get burial in Ukraine.

@zyeborm Charge air cooling works on jet engines too. Israel planned to use it on a Mach 3 recon variant of the F-4 Phantom.
1
@zyeborm To increase thrust you burn more fuel, which makes things hotter, which causes turbines to fail. So you use cooling for more thrust. Same as the intercool after the turbo allowing for greater HP by charging the air without problems, or NOS allowing for increased fuel injection.

The issue is that MILES works for like 700 yards, simunition works for 50-70.
1
Well I'm sure the LPR and DPR would not like to be compared to the UVF either.
1
That's just pro-Russia with extra steps. If you witness a crime and say the police shouldn't get involved, you're pro-criminal.

It will be retired because of parts. No amount of pivoting can solve the issue of the company that made it not existing any more, making all replacement parts extremely expensive to contract out. Closer to the front? The USAF won't risk pilots, fuel, munitions, maintenance crews, etc. when it's just easier to operate from bases. Cheaper to operate? On paper, after fudging the numbers. The A-10s problem isn't just SAMs but MANPADS which cannot be suppressed. Anything the A-10 can be used against can shoot back. It's not 1972 anymore.
1
@furkadurka What the USAF has actually said is that they want to divest from the A-10 and stop flying it by 2028. And Congress allowed another 21 to be sent to the boneyard in the 2023 national defense bill. Having an A-10 is Arizona is not "the front" because the US Navy never let any ground troops land in American shores. The air force's words? They want the A-10 gone. Go "well actually" them.
1
@michaelpcoffee F-16s, Strike Eagles, B-52s, B-1s, etc.
1
Then the drones could take out the convoy. Why waste time with A-10s?
1
The US sent Marines to recover as many as they could.

Initial reports mentioned two missiles. Most likely a Russian missile was knocked down by an Ukrainian S-300 and crashed into Poland. The crater even looked too large for a S-300. So both. Most likely a launch from Belarus hugging the border areas to avoid obvious flight paths and come around behind defenses.

Debatable.
1
@K.F-R Drones and MANPADS can't fight against F-35s...
1
@Sobriety4Reality Buying Rafales doesn't mean being pro-Ukraine.
1
@Sobriety4Reality Training isn't wasted time. And India's Russian fighters had to be reworked with French and Israeli technology because even they realized the Russian stuff is garbage. If India wants to counter the CCP threat, they could start by showing their allegiance in the Russia-Ukraine conflict. We'll help them after they help us.

@domtweed7323 They have traffic cops. Buddy, it's the national guard. They have disaster response and enforcing martial law as part of their duties. The entire GWOT was an exercise on finding the broad spectrum between innocent civilian and a threat.
1
@domtweed7323 Concern trolling. Did Bloody Sunday happen in Kosovo since your comment? No. So were you lying, or just wrong?
1
Most "anti-zionists" are just anti-semites anyway and those who are honest about it are in bad company, and Assange leaked classified intel plus he had links to Russia.
