  3. The 400km range is limited by the horizon. Due to the earth's curvature and other phenomena, a quality weapons track at 400km is only possible against very high altitude targets.

  4. Initial reports mentioned two missiles. Most likely a Russian missile was knocked down by an Ukrainian S-300 and crashed into Poland. The crater even looked too large for a S-300. So both. Most likely a launch from Belarus hugging the border areas to avoid obvious flight paths and come around behind defenses.
