They put an ad for a German speaking actor and all the responses were frontmen for Rammstein cover bands, please understand.

In the "forced conscription" videos the officer/senior enlisted who beats up people is always the same actor, same gait in every video.

It's okay to pass the time but I stopped caring like 10 seasons ago. Best episode for me is when they have to surgically remove a live RPG-7 warhead that speared a guy but failed to detonate.

Because wealthier Western European nations are associated with higher quality goods/services so the German surgeons would be the best and Ukrainian doctors wouldn't be trusted, also there's the "vampiristic" fable of bleeding the poor to feed the rich, stealing organs and selling them to Westerners makes us look evil and the Ukrainians like pawns who don't even get the organs for themselves. Also not-very-subtle hint at voodoo Nazi science.

Well in 2004 they had the Orange Revolution against Yanukovych and his election fraud. And in 2003 Russia started a territorial dispute in the Kerch strait.

Ghost of Kiev was a rumor that spread online after Russia claimed to have destroyed the entire Ukrainian air force on the ground and a MiG-29 in Ukrainian camo was seen flying over the capital. A gamer from another country (I think India?) made a video in DCS as a tribute which made a lot of boomers think it was real. The Ukrainian Air Force said it wasn't real. The HIMARS strike was reported by Russian sources themselves. It was a New Year's Eve gathering in a building that was meant to serve as sleeping quarters also being used to store ammunition. The building was leveled so most people inside didn't come out unscathed. Bakhmut is both the city and the general area. When you hear about Ukrainian advances in Bakhmut they're talking about the flanks. Journalists aren't very knowledgeable about the military. But you also should acquire some media literacy. Many people heard of Putin visiting Kherson and got confused. Because Kherson is also the name of the district, though Ukraine controls the city.

Honestly it looks like a basement and it is intended to look like a basement. The black plastic is because in the movies the bad guys love to lay plastic everywhere so they can kill/torture and then just roll up the sheets to make the clean up easy. They could easily go to a clinic or dentist's office if they wanted to make it look medical, they wanted it to look "evil" and "criminal".
