  2. The mechanical object "water pump" has no digital electronics. If you're going to install water pumps in a facility, you're going to bring over the controllers. If they just needed pumps, Iran can make them. They needed the entire computerized system to control the pumps from a control room.

  5. No. Just lack of memory in 60s computers meant dates were stored with the last digits. So 2000 became 1900. Computers running software that had not been patched for Y2K had problems due to records being introduced as if they happened in 1900.
