Even in the UK, which is known for not allowing semi-auto rifles, allows semi-auto shotguns (which are very destructive weapons at close range). The vast majority of countries allows semi-auto rifles and semi-auto handguns.

You're more likely to win the lottery every week for a hundred years straight. "I wonder how high the stakes have to be raised before everyone would pull their heads out of their asses and get vaccinated" - But you can still carry it because it doesn't make you immune, which means mutations and new variants will keep happening. You can't snuff it out until the transmission chain ends, which mean enough people in the world being naturally immune and impossible to infect. This isn't achieved by a vaccine that reduces symptoms.

He can buy a barrel and gas tube for cheap, online, and order it to his door because only the lower is the firearm. If he didn't care, he would have torch cut the lower per ATF guidelines. His actions in the video did not result in the destruction of a firearm (it would still work, just not cycle), just the manufacture of a SBR which is illegal.
