  2. There's subsonic rounds but the suppressor is mostly to reduce the blast and flash when indoors.

  3.  @thomasa5619  The 1989 import restrictions and the 1994 AWB. They weren't MP5 specific but HK had big plans for the American market and the American government cost them millions. Since then both American import restrictions and German export restrictions make it extremely hard for HK to release anything that isn't civilian-oriented in the American market.

  4. Now that there's a commercially available gun that shoots it, maybe more ammo will be sold? You're essentially describing the chicken or the egg riddle, nobody is making enough to stock shelves if the only customers for 4.6 are full auto rental ranges.
