  1. Walzuuuuuuu not really. Hardness of the target deforms the bullet increasing impact area and reducing penetration. Also the bulletproof glass gets harder when compressed, so the backing plate allows that compression to happen. Without that backing plate of glass the strike face would let a bullet through because it wouldn't compress.

  2. Finn Mueller the size of a gun doesn't matter. In fact the bigger the gun the harder it is to use in a crime. Most countries make small guns harder to get because criminals want them.

  4. No, you said guns are only needed to protect ourselves from guns but go off I guess. And lowering the crime rate is much easier than taking guns away because criminals will never be disarmed. Look at Mexico and Brazil. In Brazil criminals even make their own weapons. Wanna lower the crime rate? Make drugs legal. It will instantly collapse the cartels and the gangs if people have no reason to keep funding their operations. Easy, but the government doesn't want that. Why would we give up the guns to the same government that won't keep us safe by ending gangs and cartels?
