  5. Ground battles are also decided by air and naval matters. To fight on the ground you need fuel, equipment, vehicles. Those cone from factories, depots, refineries, all kinds of facilities. If you have not noticed, Russian facilities keep going up in flames. A-50s help paint a picture of the airspace, because unlike ground radar they are less effected by the horizon. If drones are carrying payload headed to facilities, and they fly under the radar, how do you detect them without A-50s? Russians are already riding into battle in T-54s. You really think the ground war is gonna go well when a third A-50 goes down and the long range attacks start gutting Russia's power projection?
