  2. It can work when given to someone who is infected, plasma with antibodies from a person who survived can be transfused to help fight the progression of the disease. But it's still being tested for COVID-19. It won't actually create immunity, or the immunity created will be very short lived, the body needs to learn how to produce its antibodies and for that it has to come in contact with the virus.
