  5. ​ @LaughingMan44  You assume that we'll gain lifetime immunity. In my country one of the recovered cases was a 17 year old who ended up in critical condition. It's survivable, but still putting young people in the hospital. If we let it run rampant, we'll have millions of active cases and even a small chance of complications means a collapsed healthcare system. "This way you don't end up having a collapsed economy as well as hospitals." - Think about how many people above 50 have tumors, heart conditions, diabetes, etc who'll have to be removed from the workforce and cared for. You're gonna collapse the economy either way. How many nurses and doctors would have to be diverted to care for the people at risk in isolation? How many millions of man hours are gonna be lost with all the decontamination procedures that will have to be performed for months if not over a year until the cases subside? This assuming the virus doesn't mutate and starts spreading around again and we have to put everyone in isolation again. Are those people gonna get locked in air tight containers for the rest of their lives?

"China has bankrupted most western countries without fighting any war" - they stopped their own industry which means they weren't making much money until they gave order to resume manufacturing, and if others are bankrupt they can't buy Chinese either. If their plan was crashing the global economy, they're gonna suffer more than if they had been defeated in a real war.

  7. Virus needs to be grown in a lab, then they need to test on animals, go back to the starting point if it doesn't work, then proceed with human trials.
