@Simboiss "could be anything" isn't an argument. Intense flash causing bleaching of objects is n explanation that matches nukes. You have to find an explanation that matches firebombing.

@GlasbanGorm That's because the blast overpressure reflecting off the ground and following the one travelling through the air is the biggest effect of an airburst. The building in the epicenter will be the least affected.

Until 2014, they refurbished some of theirs in... Ukraine.

@anthonyhovens7488 But airbursts are done to maximize shockwave. The thermal radiation eventually gets absorbed by the atmosphere, but the shockwave keeps going for several miles.

They'd just claim the psychiatrist is working for the government.

Firebombings were devastating in Japan due to wooden construction.

@Simboiss "studying the attacks" you mean photoshopping a flood light to look orange to allege there was molten steel in the debris?

But a lot of the energy is thermal. Sure you could try to directly capture neutrons, x-rays and gamma rays but one of the main features of nuclear reactors is that they get hot and will literally melt themselves if you stop cooling them. Even if you had direct radiation capture to get energy, you'd still need massive cooling. And steam is way more efficient than using solid state thermal generators.
1
@jonloomis5210 I don't see steam as a limitation. It's actually quite poetic that our planet is covered in a substance that can carry so much thermal energy through phase change.

@geraintwd try flying a drone over the White House. It will lose control. You think the government doesn't have anti drone measures everywhere? Also, hidden cameras existed before go pros. Your comment is a mess.

@GuyFawkesCat You do realize the "chemicals in the water" thing about Atrazine was uncovered by an actual scientist, right? I'd rank a scientist over a detective.
1
@Amanik_Capoli And scientists discovered it was bad before that. Did you need a detective for that? No. It was scientists.

German nuclear tech was behind the US.
