@Sulullta All the supplies were "destroyed", and then they called for an "operational pause" and mow they're saying they slowed down to "limit casualties". Translation: the supplies they claimed to have destroyed are hitting their logistics hubs, their HQs, their airbases, etc.

@Sulullta Meanwhile, 200 VDV presumed dead from HIMARS. I thought all the western supplies were destroyed - must have been only in social media.

@zeromodulus1679 if anything, the best use for hypersonics is against naval targets such as aircraft carriers, as the faster travel allows it to close the distance before the ship moves away too much from the target area

@zeromodulus1679 The problem is that an aircraft carrier or ship with long range anti-air missiles can easily destroy whatever you use to track it. The long range anti-ship missile should be able to arrive on the expected location and turn on its own sensors. Because if it relies on an aircraft to track ships, the aircraft can be taken out. This is doable up to a certain distance, where a ship will only move a few miles off the place you last tracked it. At very long ranges the missile would have to look in a very wide area as the ship could be anywhere. Make the missile hypersonic, and it can get to the expected target area much faster, slow down to supersonic and turn on its own seeker.
