  2.  @maatwarrior340  the legitimately elected president was legitimately "voted off the island" by the legitimately elected parliament. He legalized the crackdown of protestors. He fled the country when he realized the security forces would no longer protect him. Minsk was broken by DPR forces attacking Debaltseve the day after Minsk II was signed.

  3.  @ActionableFreedom  Oh, but Russian weapons have Western components. French, American, many more. Are they attacking Ukraine? I'm sure they have Chinese components too. And now Iranian drones were found. Is Iran attacking Ukraine?

  4.  @ActionableFreedom  Waa waa. Russia has crossed the red lines. Strategic retreat? They did nothing but attack and we backed off. Stand their ground? How about retreating from Ukraine? Then they can stand THEIR ground. Bleak future? How so? They're gonna destroy the world because they can't handle losing?

  5.  @ActionableFreedom  The US influence is creeping up to their borders because what does Russia have to offer? Putin can sell the "I'm protecting you from US influence" spiel to Russians, but it's difficult to sell that to other nations. They'll just correctly guess they'll get Russian influence instead of US influence, and remain poor. Simply put, the US offers a better deal. And Russia could offer a better deal. But they don't even try. So no wonder they deal with North Korea, Iran and Syria. All great places! Right? Oh no, a military force that kills Ukrainians and shelled Ukrainian cities decided to live smack down in the middle of Donetsk. The FSB brought the war and somehow Ukraine has to take it when the separatists shell them and there can't be return fire. Yanukovich was ready to call for calm. Which meant betraying the Ukrainian security forces. That's why Yanukovich fled, he realized he wasn't safe in a country where the people who kept him safe realized they'd get charged for the murders Yanukovich ordered. He wanted the mafioso life, but he forgot the basic mafia rules. Good riddance. I wish his IL-76 had been shot down in the way to Hostomel. Yeah, they are acting rationally, just like a robber or murderer acts rationally. If they didn't, we'd put them in an asylum. They act rational, which means they're fit to stand trial for their crimes.
