@Mellowyellow8888 It also makes zero ethical sense to contaminate the control group. The fact of the matter is that the chances of dying are so low it makes more sense to preserve the data than argue that they need to protect a few thousand people.

@jamescooke7243 Yes, they had as much time as they wanted. The last phase of the trial involved 48k people. This is nothing compared to how many doses were administered.

@dan2569 This is the reason I refuse to take it. I've already had the coof twice, Wuhan strain and Omicron, and it was a cold that lasted one day. However since 2019 I have had a worrying heart condition that is still undiagnosed (thanks to lockdowns delaying appointments and exams), and I have occasional chest pain and high heart rate. I'm genuinely worried that if I take it, this is going to make it worse (or actually kill me) but doctors won't even entertain that this could be a risk factor. And again I had this before the pandemic so it wasn't myocarditis from viral infection, that many claim to be more common than adverse reactions.

It kinda is. I'm forced into participating in this system against my will, if annoying people like you forever is the only satisfaction I can get, then I guess you'll just have to deal with it.

We're all losers in a world where everyone's a loser, then. You're not forced to do anything? Try stop paying taxes. Living in the woods doesn't exempt you from the system, you know that. You don't care, and here you are complaining about the people you supposedly don't care about. You're trying to be too cool for school after you already made your vulnerability public. @markportnoy6290 Ineffectual response? He attempted to stop the spread by suspending travel and was called a racist over it. In fact, I remember the side opposing Trump suggesting that we hug people and releasing articles about how the yearly flu kills more people so we're stupid for caring about covid. Also, didn't more people die under Biden's watch?

You do realize they're taking up hospital beds for other reasons and simply test positive. These incidental cases make up 40-65% of hospitalizations "with" covid depending on the country, meaning that your rant is meaningless. Also, Der Spiegel has reported that in Hamburg 70% of the hospitalizations are of unknown status, so they just write them down as unvaccinated. If one city is lying to make the shot look better, why wouldn't everyone be lying?

@markportnoy6290 It did nothing because as I had mentioned, the spread was global by late 2019. So it was futile. The opposition response was to deny and deflect, so even if Trump's ineffective response was something that didn't pan out, the opposition wanted to purposefully spread it. Were test kits available in mass by then? Again, the opposition also claimed it was just the flu, and then reversed their position when they found a way to hurt Trump. How have I been gaslit? I paid attention. I saw how YOUR SIDE (Trump's opposition) wanted to spread it. You now concern-troll about initial response as if you weren't holding the exact opposite opinions, and as if you aren't the gaslighter-in-chief. You can stop punching air. You confuse me for a Trump supporter. I'm not. I simply paid attention and don't have the memory of a goldfish. So I have seen your entire gameplan. And I applaud it. I don't think the definition of a pandemic should be defined by our awareness of it. The black plague was not a pandemic until people realized what it was? You're the one using rhetoric. We learned from the deadliness before it even "left" China (it already had but we didn't know). We knew it had a 3% CFR. Adult? That's the narrative now! All this testing is clogging up the systems with cases that don't need attention. Funny, the increased testing due to Christmas and NYE is the cause for this debacle, but not the Feb/March increase in 2020? Was mass testing even available in Feb 2020? This country has no path forward due to irreconcilable differences, not the tactics used in arguments. I'm listening to your opinion. I find it lacking. You come here complaining, I find what bothers you. You then switch gears and pretend you never complained. You'll be a victim too. All your arguments apply to you despite you trying to pretend to be above it all. If you were above us mere mortals, you wouldn't even have posted your first comment (a complaint).
