  2. +Crowborn you do realize that the notation used in sight reading is intuitive for instruments that are laid out in linear fashion, like pianos, but not guitars, with their complex fingering geometries, alternate tunings, etc right? Have you actually tried to read guitar notation, written specifically for guitar? It's a fucking mess. You can't grab a sheet and perform for an audience because there's a lot of contextual information you have to retain on your memory beforehand. Memorizing a song on a guitar? Goddamn it's like guitarists have been doing it right all along and therefore suck at reading sheet music because they never bothered to learn something they do not need. What a mystery, right? /sarcasm
