Comments by "Titanium Rain" (@ChucksSEADnDEAD) on "Russia sent T-62s to Ukraine - Fake News or correct?" video.
@cstgraphpads2091 the issue is that long range in a tank's gun means nothing when the AT weapon suddenly comes out from behind a tree 70-50 meters away. There's still footage coming out of Ukrainian forces being able to get close to armored vehicles and fire unguided weapons at them.

@zorkgreywind509 And there's videos of armored vehicles getting pelted with artillery or rolling over landmines in the plains. So what?

Laughing at how many of these deathtraps are getting wrecked is a non-stop source of comedy.

@kell7195 And what happens when the other 5/6ths are deployed? China, Japan and Finland just take what they want from undefended areas?
1
@kell7195 Russia is pivotal to China's survival = this war is going to well China will get to use Russia as a vassal state. Being enslaved to the Chinese is a fate too grim, shame Russia couldn't handle this peacefully.

Because there's a ton of weapons unable to penetrate T-72s and T-80s, that now can be used against T-62s.
1
They have been seen in Melitopol.
1
Drones will see the ramps being constructed hours in advance and real artillery will fire on them.
1
They'll just switch to cheaper weapons instead of wasting Javs.
1
@sticky59 30% of it's troops because that's all it can muster.
1
It's real. They were photographed in Melitopol.
1
MANDPADS aren't used against armor.
1
Because a T-62 allows you to use even cheaper AT weapons. It's not the same. It's just worse. And obe extra life at risk if it gets penetrated and the ammo set off.
1
I have. I've seen about 10 Stugna-P hits since last Saturday, probably 4-5 IFVs destroyed from air dropped munitions and a few more tanks and IFVs destroyed by artillery.

@Crazylalalalala Doesn't matter which weapon is used, but either way AT weapons are better used for ambushes. If the tanks are trying to cross a river 10 miles away, you don't send infantry to run ten miles with a rocket on their backs. You send a drone to sight the target and make it rain on them. Yes, the footage is new. I don't know what to compare it with, it's black and white footage with the missile flying towards the crosshairs. You see a bright dot hovering and then a large explosion. The shapes of the vehicles and the background/foreground is different each time but it's a really zoomed in view of an armored vehicle popping off.

A NATO attack means nuclear war. Saving T-72s for an attack that will never come is peak paranoid schizophrenic behavior.
1
Most of them are rust buckets.
1
The issue is that it also allows Ukraine to use older weapons and save the high tech missiles for the modern tanks coming in later. And by then many tank crews will have died.
1
But then cheaper weapons take out the T-62 too...
1
But then tank crews are depleted.

@n4zou Every conscript is a worker who's not paying taxes, making kids or working for a company to generate wealth. This proves the saying right. When you go on a quest for vengeance, dig two graves. Destroying Ukraine will destroy Russia too.
