  4.  @cyagami90  That's just not true. There's people from developed countries that go to the US to do experimental treatments they aren't allowed by law to get in their country yet, people who don't want to wait in their country and decide to pay to get their treatment/surgery sooner, etc. There's private clinics in Canada where people travel from other developed countries simply because they have better procedures, for example that hernia treatment clinic that promises better results and faster recovery than the competition. It's not something exclusive to the US, but there's more research and private practice in the US so people go there.

The measures are just patchwork that will further the debt you will be forced to bear by virtue of being tax cattle. The public is being bribed with its own money and you think that's a good solution...

Governments have a budget and there's only so far they can stretch it. A socialized system doesn't give you more hospitals unless the country has a greater tax revenue per capita and is able to squeeze more expenditures. If you have a socialized system, but the country is not doing that well, forget it. "socialist policy (safety net)" - Socialism requires capitalism to be abolished. Social safety nets aren't socialism.
