Even if you passed a 100% inheritance tax and shot all of the 400 wealthiest Americans in the head, and nationalized and sold off every American company on the Fortune 500, you still wouldn't have enough money to run the US budget for a single year. Eating the rich will only stave off the hunger for a couple of hours. And you'll have destroyed the entire ecosystem, nothing more to grow and eat for the next few years.
