  2. Criminals don't need gun licenses. They buy guns because they are criminals and they don't obey the law. Most guns used in crime are illegal. Plus, it was in Brazil. There's plenty of illegal guns yet civilian ownership of firearms is very restricted.

  4. "Martial arts" is not a set number of moves. Just because they didn't do a spinning butterfly kick or a Matrix-style punch combo doesn't mean they weren't fighting with the tools they received from training martial arts. They happened to be martial arts competitors who stopped an armed robber. That's what was on the title and that was what you saw on the video.
