The maps they used for the invasion were from the 1960s so the exclusion zone was not marked. Anyone who spent the 1 year in the army (mandatory with few exceptions) is considered a "reservist". The real reservists are the BARS units and they've been fighting in Ukraine for months.

Newer defense lines closer to the sea just give up distance to Ukraine meaning that cheap 155/152 mm shells will be within range. Imagine what happens when those targets can just be demolished by hand-cranked guns firing cheap shells. It will be a slaughter, no need to breach the line when you can just hit fuel, ammo, the barracks where soldiers sleep, etc.

The forces they brought up were propaganda for the cameras. Ukraine does have a tank industry. They need everything they can. Building hulls, turrets and barrels from scratch is difficult. Repairing broken down tanks is comparatively simpler. The train loads of tanks will be manned by guys who barely know how to use them. And a load of tanks that arrived in Donetsk a week or two ago was shelled immediately on arrival. LOL!
