Even a Russian military analyst said that two guided missiles can do the job of a thousand unguided shells. And Russia needs more guided munitions.

  4.  @attilamarics4808  Doesn't matter if they were older models. You need to pay for new ones. Those cost more. Ukraine is defending, Russia is attacking. Destroying Russian air power means the attackers suffer more.

One of the best resistance movements ever was the Philippines guerrilla against Japan lead by Wendell Fertig. People are terrible at organizing themselves. Most people are terrible at military operations without formal training.

  9. The reason they don't want to fight is that both the LPR and DPR were bloodied as used as meat shields by Russia. They want to stop and don't want to go outside their regions because they know they'll be forced to advance into Ukrainian defenses to get killed, and then the Russian forces perform the real assault. They're kidnapping men off the street in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions to fight. Natural resources require investment to extract. That investment can go all up in smoke with a single volley from a long range rocket attack or suicide drone. Who's going to invest?

Russia also lost a ton of drilling tech because of the Western companies that have left. "Oil and gas companies drill ANYWHERE if there’s money involved." - Not where it's hard to extract. If a conflict is too hot, they won't invest. "Everything you build can be blown up no matter where you are" - Oh yes, please. Tell me how many Saudi or Kuwaiti oil fields were blown up this year? How many Venezuelan oil fields?

Third, why would it upset anyone on Ukraine's side? He's just being wrong about special forces and resistance movements, it has nothing to do with Ukraine.
