  1. ​ @ItApproaches  a lot of people thinking and asking questions are straight up just not knowledgeable about subjects so they ask questions that sound smart unless you actually understand the subject. For example WTC7 had three diesel backup generators. None of the people "asking questions" about tower 7 ever mention that the building was essentially loaded with fuel.

  21. I remember the early days of broadband, my country had no BF2 servers, so I played in an Italian server with 150-180 ms. It was a little rough but playable, I could even snipe decently. But when a UK server with 50-60 ms started to get populated in the afternoon, oh yeah that was awesome.

  27. ​ @CaptainOsric  "Reasonable force" is a farce. If someone attcks you, you have to use overwhelming force. Fighting is brutal. It's not pretty or clean cut. If you win a fight, the loser looks like he was held in a basement and tortured for his bank card PIN. I've fought with gloves and headgear. One time I got my nose rearranged and the eyes nearly swollen shut on a fight I lost narrowly by split decision. Two times I left my opponents with their faces bleeding and swollen and they were still standing in the end. If you do enough to stop an attacker it's NOT going to look "reasonable" to a judge and jury who never curled their fingers into a fist.
