  4. That makes no sense. The tank losses are a reflection of attrition in an advance. If Russia loses a thousand but gets bogged down that's worse than Ukraine losing a hundred but succeeding in their mission.

  10. How would air superiority solve the issue? Wars can be fought without air, as we often seen between poorer countries or between two former Soviet states with dense air defenses. Air power would not protect tanks from ambushes. Only proper tactics could.
