  5. About as much gun kills were made with gun pods and the E internal gun. The majority of kills were missile. The reason for the increase in kill rate was the introduction of Teaball, the radar coverage and comms monitoring that exposed the North Vietnamese ambush tactics.

  7. That's the equivalent of running out of ammo in a 300 yard rifle fight, so you fix bayonet and run across an empty field with only a bladed weapon while the enemy still has bullets. Just because you ran out of missiles, the enemy will not be a gentleman and let you get close. He's just gonna sling a missile.

  8. DCS is not a stealth simulation. Stealth aircraft will detect each other before visual range because stealth degrades as it gets closer to the radar source. Plus IRST.
